Nyx

collaborative ‘sonic drama’ performances with Fiorenzo Palermo

NYX - the ancient Greek goddess of the night, born of Air (Khaos), and with Darkness (Erebos) produced Light (Aither) and Day (Hemera) - the first components of the primeval universe. Alone, she spawned a brood of dark spirits, including the three Fates, Sleep, Death, Strife and Pain.

Fiorenzo Palermo works with words - the spoken word - and using drama to interpret (often dark) emotions and issues. The role of sponde here is contribute to creating the sonic and physical ambience
